Gardham Wold Landscapes completed the landscaping for two serene and thoughtfully designed memorial gardens.
The Forget-Me-Not Memorial at Northern Cemetery, Hull and the Butterfly Grove at Lelley Crematorium. Both gardens were created to commemorate those affected by the Legacy Funeral investigation, providing reflective and peaceful outdoor spaces that offer solace to families and the community.
The landscaping works focused on creating vibrant, seasonal planting schemes that bring life and colour throughout the year. The gardens feature roses with ground cover plants, carefully selected winter and spring bulbs, memorial trees, and fruit trees, which together provide structure, longevity, and symbolic growth. Additional planting of shrubs, grasses, herbaceous perennials and wildflowers enhances biodiversity while offering a natural and calming aesthetic.
These spaces not only honour those remembered but also contribute to the beauty and ecological value of the cemetery and crematorium landscapes.
